Hunger Walk/Run 2018

The Atlanta Community Food Bank shares that 1 in 7.5 people, or an estimated 755,400 people, in metro Atlanta and north Georgia turn to food pantries and meal service programs to feed themselves and their families each year. This includes more than 164,000 children and more than 64,000 seniors.

Congregation Etz Chaim's Social Action Committee helps JF&CS collect food donations throughout the year for the Kosher Food Pantry. In the early spring, our Etz Chaim community comes together to donate, walk or run in the annual Hunger Walk.

Etz Chaim is currently putting together our team of walkers and runners. This year's Hunger Walk is Sunday, February 25.
